Arm-in-arm we walked --
orange burlap bags on our backs.
Our shadows sought the wall, and silhouetted
bodies bent like oxen with our burdens.
You leaned against the emptied crates --
your laugh saturated with orchard juice.

Creative Writing: From the Orchard
I decided to play with Magnetic Poetry again today. I couldn't stick to the 20-word limit, but was able to keep it pretty brief anyhow.

this is beautiful.
aw, thanks.... it has phrases I like, but it was hard to construct.... I think it would be better as a longer poem
