Yeah, N, I'm a vegetarian and would not consider deep frying the Tofurkey. :) In all honesty Tim is right - they have caused alot of nasty fires. Be careful and have a happy reunion weekend, etc.

Yea, Little Willow, glad there's a fellow veggie out there. I'd save all the turkeys if I could!! Unfortunately I'm in a mixed marriage and a dead one will be on my table tomorrow despite my efforts!
Hi, Nancy. I'm a vegetarian too, but my brother has been cooking the family turkey this way for the past few years, and everyone else seems to love it. No fires, no injuries thus far.Happy Thanksgiving!
