Quote of the Day, 1/02/07: Brains

I especially like the last quote below, about borrowing brains. I made myself a framed picture of that quote several years ago, and kept it in my office as a reminder.
Fyodor Dostoyevsky
It is not the brains that matter most, but that which guides them—the character, the heart, generous qualities, progressive ideas.

Robert Frost
The brain is a wonderful organ. It starts working the moment you get up in the morning and does not stop until you get into the office.

Woodrow Wilson
I not only use all the brains that I have, but all that I can borrow.

Good quotes. I still haven't gotten to reading anything by Dostoyevsky. I must do it soon!

Speaking as someone who's brain is frequently borrowed (or at any rate picked), I laughed at the Woodrow Wilson one !
