Made the Switch to Blogger Beta

It's got some quirks, but I figured it was time.

If you have any troubles with this blog now, let me know.

Anyone out there who made the switch earlier, who can tell me what's new and improved?

You can add labels to you posts, allowing readers, including you, to find all the posts on a particular topic. You can preview a picture before you add it to the post (handy) and updating your sidebar is (usually) pretty easy thanks to the Widgets...

Blogger Beta never ever lets me sign in with my Blogger account. Why does it hate me so??? -- Little Willow

I now have to sign in with my email address instead of just a name, which is annoying.

Also, every time I publish a post, Blogger tells me it was unsuccessful (which isn't true).

But I love that it now tells me WHICH post the comment is for, when I get a comment in my email.

Nancy it's always done that - or at least it always has told me which post the comment is for in my emails...

You don't actually have to sign into Beta Blogger with your email address - at least, I don't - I use the first part of my Gmail address (scolere) and then my Gmail account password 99 times out of 100...

Little Willow Beta Blogger will let you sign in with your Blogger account if you choose "Other" as your Identity - then just fill out your Blogger account details... (I wish they'd hurry up and iron that one out, because it also works the other way, that I have to sign in as "other" on the Blog of anyone who's not swapped to Beta yet !

Okay, new issue. It now seems resistant to paragraph breaks. In my postcard post (above) I had to create the breaks by putting a period on the line between each paragraph and then changing the color of the period so it wouldn't be visible. In my profile, I finally gave up. There's supposed to be a paragraph break in there, but I substituted ellipses. Sigh.
