Quote of the Day, 8/17/06

On good and evil...

Charles Dickens, The Pickwick Papers
There are dark shadows on the earth, but its lights are stronger in the contrast.

Joseph Conrad, Under Western Eyes
A belief in a supernatural source of evil is not necessary; men alone are quite capable of every wickedness.

Nancy, It's Auntie Jeanie. Where can I find the poem about Send In the Clowns. I loved the quote you did way back when

Hi AJ! If you do a search on google for Sondheim lyrics, you should find it there. It's a great song. I'd also recommend you check out a good "best of Sondheim" cd -- Betty Buckley, Glenn Close, Angela Lansbury and others have done good recordings of this song.

Thanks for the comment! Hope the wedding is fantastic. Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY in advance!
